Angel’s journey into tattooing began at the age of 15, driven by a deep passion for art and self-expression. Despite a lack of local mentors or apprenticeship opportunities, he was determined to learn. He remembers building a homemade tattoo machine from an old radio motor and a guitar string and testing it out on fruit.
In 2010, after saving up for a professional tattoo kit, Angel tattooed his first person—his mother, who has been a strong supporter from day one. Mitov quickly made a name for himself, winning multiple awards at the Bulgarian Tattoo Convention over several consecutive years.

Angel was super professional. First we met to go over ideas and designs. Then we met to try out a couple and see what I liked best. I liked that there was no rush or pressure and I got to sit with the ideas before deciding. The actual tattoo went flawlessly and has healed nicely, no scabbing or scar tissue.
